We are running a powerful web use analytics software.  This allows you to see how many people are visiting your website, what they are looking at, if they are a new visitor or a returning visitor, and what files they are downloading.  It also shows how they got to your website.  You can find out which search engines referred them to your website and which search terms they were using when they found your website.

All this information is also available for download into word docs, excel docs, text or for print. 

This information is important for you to know what people are looking for on your website.  Then you can take that information and see if there is more you can do to improve the content or the amount of information you have available on that subject.

For example you might see that there are lots of people visiting the high school ministry section, but you only have a little bit of information up there.  To better serve those people you would want to add more information about that ministry.
